Accelerated Death Benefit Rider
*Included
This rider is included in your policy at no charge. It gives you access to a portion of your policy’s death benefit, if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness resulting in six months or less to live.
Premium Waiver for Disability
*Available at additional cost
This carrier will waive premium payments during a period of total disability lasting four consecutive months or more. The waived payments don’t have to be paid back. This rider is not available on all policies and cost varies by age.
Child Rider
*Available at additional cost
You can add a child rider to your term policy for as little as $50 per year. This rider provides a $10,000 death benefit for all of your children under age 18. Ask your Quotacy agent for details.

The Fine Print
Guidelines & Exclusions
Accelerated Underwriting
- Their accelerated underwriting program is called TermAccel.
- An online interview is offered instead of a phone interview. You may choose phone interview if you prefer, however.
- Underwriting will still include evaluation of prescription history, motor vehicle records, and Medical Information Bureau reports..
- Eligibility
- Ages 18-60 applying for coverage $100,000 to $1,000,000
- Being eligible does not guarantee acceptance into the accelerated underwriting program.
- If not accepted, you continue on to traditional underwriting in which a medical exam is required.
Term Conversion
- During the first seven years of your policy, you may convert to any Lincoln Financial permanent product at any time.
- If you convert during the 8th year or later, you may convert to Lincoln Financial’s designated permanent policy option for your policy.
- You may not convert to a permanent product after age 70.
Premium Waiver for Disability Rider
- Not available if you are rated Table D or higher.
- Waiver coverage ends at age 65.
- If disability begins at (or after the policy anniversary at) age 60, Lincoln Financial will waive only those premiums that become due while disabled and before the policy anniversary nearest your 70th birthday.
Accelerated Death Benefit Rider
- Benefits available if diagnosed as terminally ill with a life expectancy of less than six months (12 months in California).
- You may accelerate up to 50% of the death benefit—up to $250,000.
- $300 administration fee to accelerate benefits.
Child Rider
- Child rider coverage options range from $1000-$15,000. $5 per $1000-coverage-unit annually.
- Newborn child covered when 15 days old.
- Parent (or child) can convert rider up until policy anniversary of child’s 25th year or parent’s 65th year—whichever is earlier.
